Message to Anti-Gun/Conceal & Carry People

The message is simple: All of you shut up!

This school shooting hit a little too close to home, occuring at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. It could have just as easily happened at Western, Eastern, UIS, Lincoln Land or even at Macomb High. There is no way to rationalize what happened. It happened. We all must mourn the lives of those killed and find ways to prevent this from happening again. How do we do that? I don't know.

The anti-gun lobby and pro-conceal and carry people have already pounced all over this. Six (and maybe more who knows for sure) people are dead, yet both sides are making them martyrs for their respective causes. These people are SICK. If you are one of those people, you are SICK. Get some professional help. There is a time and place for thoughtful debate on the issue.

Now is not the time. It is the time to remember those who were killed and be a source of comfort to their friends and family.
